Our Ewes

We’ve worked hard to build a ewe flock that encompasses all the aspects we love about the Icelandic breed.

We have a wide range of colors, patterns, and bloodlines. We have ewes chosen for their exceptional meat conformation; ewes with rich, silky-soft fleeces; ewes that are excellent milkers; ewes from exceptionally prolific lines, and ewes with terrific heat and parasite resistance.

And each year we keep a few of our best farm-bred ewe lambs to add to our breeding program so we can continue to improve.

Together with our magnificent rams, this fine flock of ewes will produce lambs that accentuate and combine all of the breed’s best qualities.

Our flock has grown to the point where we need to reduce our flock numbers a little bit this fall. So a few of our ewes are for sale. Check out our Sale page for more information.
