Fiber Art

From hand-spun shawls to quirky macramé purses, from delicate card-woven ribbons to needle-felted sculptures, you never know what you’ll find on my fiber arts page.

Fiber arts have always fascinated me.  There is something so satisfying about the process of taking raw plant or animal fibers and—through spinning, weaving, felting, crochet, macramé, or any of the other fiber arts—turning those fibers into something decorative or practical.

I love to experiment with new materials and techniques.  Because I’m always trying something new, many of my pieces are one of a kind.  No mass-production here!

I make most of my items out of wool from my own flock of sheep, but I do occasionally use purchased materials too, when the project calls for it.  Eventually I hope to make some items from flax that I have grown and harvested myself, on my own acreage.

These photos show just a few examples of my work.  To see what items are currently available, please visit my Etsy shop.

I also do custom orders.  Please inquire!
