What a fantastic lamb crop we’ve had this year! So many of the breedings produced exactly what I was hoping for, or better, that I seriously had a hard time choosing which ones I was willing to release to the sales list. I wanted to keep them all!

In the end, I did have to limit the number I would keep, which means there are still many, many lovely lambs available for sale below.

Keeping as many lambs as I did meant that I had to choose quite a few adult ewes to put on the sales list as well, to keep my flock numbers down. So don’t forget to check my Sheep for Sale page too, to see what’s available there.

I offer a 10% discount if you buy more than 3 sheep at a time.

Lambs are ready to go to their new homes in late Aug. or early Sept.

Xoco INGL EWE M3H 002X: Horned moorit badger twin ewe. Born 3/20/10. Carries solid and possibly spotted. 37.5% AI (Heli, Laekur, Langidalur, Moli, Muli). A vigorous, active little girl, 3 lbs. 13 oz. at birth, but growing fast. Last year, the ram lamb out of this same ewe was 74 lbs. by the time he was 2 months old! Based on her parents, she should have a fantastic fleece and excellent size when she grows up. I was going to keep her for myself, but then decided to keep her twin brother as a replacement ram instead.

Xolo INGL RAM 01H 003X: Horned white single ram. Born 3/28/10. Carries moorit, probably badger, and possibly spotted. 6 lb. 14 oz. at birth. In addition to carrying 39.1% AI bloodlines (Bambi, Blaevar, Eldar, Kostur, Heli, Hunn), this lamb is also 25% Nicholai and 25% Midas, which are my two best lines for parasite resistance. Very nice stout build on this boy so far. He has a long curly fleece already with lots of beautiful luster.

Xander INGL RAM M2H 009X: Horned moorit gray twin ram. Born 4/2/10. 6 lb. 15 oz at birth. 68.75% AI bloodlines (Bambi, Horvi, Kudi, Kunningi, Laekur, Molur, Thokki). A gorgeous BIG lamb with a nice build and stunning fleece color---lots of beautiful smoky shades in his thel, below the long, luscious moorit tog.

Xcaliber INGL RAM 01H 011X: Horned white twin ram. Born 4/2/10. Carries moorit, probably badger, and possibly spotted. 4 lb. 12 oz. at birth. 28.15% AI bloodlines (Heli, Laekur, Moli, Muli), as well as 25% Solee. Two of my best parasite resistant lines, two of my best fleece lines, one of my best meat lines, and two of my best milk/mothering lines combine in this lamb.

Xelene INGL EWE 01H 013X: Horned white single ewe (to a ewe lamb). Born 4/3/10. Carries moorit, solid, and possibly spotted. 5 lb., 10 oz. at birth. 40.63% AI bloodlines (Blaevar, Flotti, Heli, Kani, Molur, Moli, Rektor, Thettir), and is also 25% Nicholai and 25% Midas---my two best lines for parasite resistance. This lamb should be a very nice all-around sheep, with very good meat builds on both sire and dam sides, as well as superb fleece on the dam's side. A lovely lamb, stout and vigorous, with a bright, curious personality.

Xergei INGL RAM B3H 016X: Horned black badger twin ram. Born 4/7/10. Carries moorit, solid, and possibly spotted. 7 lb., 12 oz. at birth. 32.8% AI bloodlines (Blaevar, Eldar, Kostur, Heli), plus 25% Midas. This cross is 3/4 the same bloodline as my best fleece ewe (who also happens to be one of my best parasite resistant ewes), with 1/4 of improved meat build added in. This boy is growing up to be VERY handsome. I almost hate to sell him, but I am keeping his twin. He's nicely built and, based on his parents, his fleece should be superb!

Sire has an excellent meat build. Dam has a one of the softest, finest fleeces in my flock. A lively, independent lamb with a beautiful fleece.

Excellent genes for prolificacy here: Lamb is a triplet. Dad is a triplet, Mom is a quad, Grandma has had natural quads THREE times! Sire has an excellent build, abundant fleece, and exceptionally wide horns. Dam is a gorgeous natural quad who may carry the Thoka gene for extra prolificacy.

Sire has excellent meat build. Dam has a very fine-textured fleece and a nice wide rumen. Super cute and flashy lamb with a very stout build and a lot of personality!

Xadrian INGL RAM M3H 023X: Horned moorit gray badger twin ram. Born 4/11/10. May carry spotted. 9 lb., 2 oz. at birth. 45.3% AI (Blaevar, Eldar, Heli, Hunn, Kani, Kostur, Molur, Morro), 25% Midas. One of my most dependable lines for mothering, plus should get a superb fleece from sire. Nice builds on both sire and dam sides. This is one of my most eye-catching lambs of the year. What a striking color he is, with all that coffee-and-cream colored fleece!
