Preston JAGER AI RAM 01P 801R: Polled white AI twin ram. Born 2005. He carries 75% AI bloodlines (Arfi, Buri). He is a huge (HUGE!!!) and extremely well built ram who was the National Champion Icelandic Ram at Rhinebeck, NY in 2005. The Icelandic judges gave him a score comparable to that of some of the AI sires in Iceland! Carries solid. Mild temperament.

Ulric INGL RAM 01H 010U: Horned white twin ram. Born April 14, 2008. 6 lbs., 7 oz. 43.8% AI blood (Bambi, Biskup, Blaevar, Heli, Kongur), plus 25% Solee (Jager Farms best maternal line) and 25% MacBeth (Tongue River Farm’s favorite sire line). Carries moorit, solid, and probably spotting.
A handsome, active lamb. Nice build, soft abundant fleece, and excellent horn spread. Sire has exceptional heat/parasite resistance. Dam has good meat build and a heavy, soft fleece. I have two full siblings of this boy in my own flock.

Urban INGL RAM 01H 023U: Horned white twin ram. Born April 25, 2008. 9 lbs., 5 oz. 43.8% AI blood (Laekur, Moli, Muli). Carries moorit, spotting, and either solid or badger.
This is a big, broad, beautiful lamb. Excellent build; soft, BRIGHT white fleece, good horn spread. Superb, lustrous, abundant fleeces on both sire and dam sides. Sire has a great meat build. Dam has excellent heat and parasite resistance. Like all the lambs from this ewe, this boy has a very sweet, mild temperament. I’m keeping his twin sister for my own flock.

Polled Starter Flocks Available
Get a head start on a terrific flock of polled Icelandics! We are offering package deals of 1 adult ram, plus three adult ewes bred to a different ram. Each ewe will probably produce twins in the spring, so by April/May you’ll have approximately 10 purebred Icelandics, including an unrelated ram to breed all your ewes and ewe lambs next fall.
These are high-quality sheep in a nice mix of colors and bloodlines. They all have good builds, lovely fleeces, and excellent temperaments. Scroll down to see details and photos of the individual sheep.
Prices for starter flocks #1 and #2 include board for your sheep through the end of breeding season. Take them home in January/February, and have your first lambs by April!
